Why a table.
A pulpit faces one way. A stage faces one way. A table doesn't: everyone around it can see each other and everyone around it is expected to say something.
A platform for transformational voices
The Table is broader than preaching. It exists for anyone whose job is to speak and be listened to: preachers, communicators and leaders, who want that speaking to genuinely change the people on the other end of it.
Most training in all three of those fields optimises for the wrong thing: better delivery, tighter structure, more confident stage presence. Useful, but not the actual problem. The actual problem is that most communication informs without ever touching what the listener already believes.
One engine, three vocabularies
Every table teaches the same underlying shift: Truth, Exposure, Freedom, Response, translated into the language of that room. For a preacher, that's Scripture, the lie, the truth and a call to response. For a communicator, it's the same shape in different words. For a leader, the same shape again.

The Preachers Table exists to help preachers:

Experiential, not just educational
This isn't a lecture series. Every session includes practical exercises: building outlines live, naming tensions out loud, taking a real sermon through the framework, plus a hot seat where preachers give and receive feedback on their own work.
The current programme runs as a 5-session Intensive, followed by an ongoing monthly table where the framework goes deeper, including specialist nights on funerals, difficult passages, controversial topics and the preacher's own spiritual health.

The engine underneath it
Every session in this Intensive plays out across the same six moves. Vocabulary can flex; the order doesn't.
The ongoing table
The Intensive is where you learn the framework. What comes after is where you keep growing with it, together, month by month, at whichever level fits right now.
You don't need to complete the Intensive first for either tier: experienced preachers are welcome to join directly. Both tiers cover the same rotating monthly topics.

Why not just ask a friend?
A friend gives you an opinion. Membership gives you a standard. Every sermon gets reviewed against the same framework (Truth, Exposure, Freedom, Response) using the same Evaluation Scorecard, so what you hear is consistent, not just kind, plus direct teaching input from Reg himself, not just a well-meaning reaction. You can download the scorecard for free and use it yourself, that's exactly what it's for. But a form doesn't know what a strong sermon actually sounds like. Reg does.

The Preachers Table: Programme
Overview
Five live sessions, building from philosophy through to delivery and feedback. Each session runs around two hours and moves deliberately between two big questions rather than rushing through content.
This is the entry point into The Preachers Table: no prior preaching training required and completing it isn't required to later join the ongoing monthly table either. Come as you are.
Who it's for
If you're newer to preaching (never had formal training, self-taught, or still finding your feet), this gives you the foundation: how to find the big idea, build a sermon that actually goes somewhere and call people to a real response.
If you've been preaching for years, this gives you something different, not new information, but language for what you already do by instinct. Right now you probably preach well without being able to fully explain why. This gives you the words to name it, refine it and teach it to someone else.
Already experienced and don't need the foundations? The Membership has no Intensive prerequisite, you're welcome to join it directly.

No. It's for anyone who preaches or teaches Scripture: full-time pastors, lay preachers and anyone stepping into it for the first time.
You're warmly invited to join the ongoing Preachers Table, a monthly table where Reg personally teaches and reviews sermons directly, not a generic peer-only group. It's not required and you're welcome to stop after the Intensive.
Live, online, with real Q&A. Sessions are not a self-paced video course.
Cohort dates are confirmed by email after booking, based on demand. If the confirmed dates don't work for you, you'll still get full access to that cohort's session recordings, so you won't miss the teaching.
No, preachers from anywhere are welcome. Sessions run live in UK time and pricing is in GBP, so it's worth checking the time works for your timezone, but plenty of members join from outside the UK.

Founder of The Table
I'm a preacher, pastor, communicator and teacher. I founded The Table.
Preaching for Transformation, the framework at the heart of The Preachers Table, didn't start as a course. It started as a conviction I kept coming back to in my own preaching: that a sermon isn't finished when it's understood. It's only finished when something actually changes because of it.

I'm an ordained minister with Assemblies of God GB, with two decades of pastoral ministry behind me, including roles as Youth Pastor, Young Adult Pastor, Regional Young Adults Leader, a place on the National Youth Team, Campus Pastor and Associate Pastor, alongside serving as a School Governor. I currently serve as Associate Pastor at London Riverside Church, where years of developing people, leading teams and communicating biblical truth to diverse audiences shaped the conviction behind The Table: that good communication isn't the goal. Transformed people are.
Before and alongside ministry, I've also managed teams outside the church, in retail, procurement and office settings, backed by a degree in Business Management: real workplaces with real people, not just congregations.
I know what I'm here to do: help people find, develop and flourish in their relationship with Jesus. The Table exists to pass that on: first to preachers and over time to communicators and leaders too, so that the people they're speaking to don't just leave informed. They leave different.
I'm married to Sheree and we have two children. Outside of ministry, I'm usually found cooking, watching Liverpool FC and MMA, or lost in anime, manga, manhwa, or whatever culture and creativity I'm currently exploring.
My passion is simple: to help people find their voice, communicate with purpose and use their influence to make a difference.
